Parcel storage and optional inspection policy
These rules apply to your free V2 Korean receiving address and customer My Storage parcels. Legacy paid Box reservations may have different terms. All day counts run from the warehouse-recorded arrival time in Korea.
Storage timeline: 100 days free + up to 30 paid days
Extensions are optional, billed in three-day blocks at $1 USD per block (up to $10 USD for 30 days). A request alone does not extend coverage: staff must verify the full settled payment before your paid-through date changes. A parcel cannot remain in ordinary storage past day 130 without a separate staff arrangement.
- Day 0
Storage begins when warehouse staff records your parcel as received, using Korea Standard Time.
- Day 93
First reminder: seven days remain before the free 100-day period ends.
- Day 100
Free storage ends. Additional approved storage costs $1 USD per three days, up to 30 extra days.
- Day 120
Storage review reminder. Confirm your shipping plan and paid-through date.
- Day 123
Final seven-day reminder before the maximum 130-day storage period.
- Day 130
Maximum storage age reached. Any unclaimed parcel enters a staff-only manual review; it is not automatically disposed of.
Check My Storage and your registered email for storage reminders.
Optional inspection fees and deliverables
$3 USD / parcel
Parcel opening, basic visual condition and item/count overview, 1–4 private staff photographs and a short written report.
$5 USD / parcel
Standard checks plus closer inspection of visible condition, variants and damage, detailed photos and written findings.
$3 USD / parcel
Compare a verified Bunjang parcel against its original listing, document visible condition and accessories, and provide 1–4 photos and a report.
Visual checks do not authenticate luxury or second-hand goods, guarantee hidden/internal condition, or include international shipping. Bunjang requests require the original HTTPS listing. Fees are displayed before requesting a service; staff must independently verify payment before opening a parcel.
Request inspection for an eligible parcel →Documented unclaimed-parcel disposal review
K-ShipBox does not dispose of a parcel automatically on day 130. Staff first checks any active shipment, outstanding paid extension, inspection, consolidation or dispute. Staff must document customer-contact attempts and dates, review the parcel against applicable policy, and open a hold for manual review. Only after a separate physical disposition is actually carried out may staff record its date, method and supporting evidence. The customer account then receives a disposition update.
If you need more time, contact support before the deadline. An extension request does not guarantee that storage after day 130 can be approved.
