Buying Proxy or a Korean Address: Which Do You Need?
Getting started · Updated · 3 min read · K-ShipBox
You found something on a Korean store, but the next step is unclear. Do you need help paying the seller, or just somewhere in Korea to receive the order? These are different services. Choosing the right one makes the purchase easier to follow and helps you understand which charges come next.
When Buying Proxy is the better fit
Choose Buying Proxy if you cannot complete the seller’s checkout or want our team to review the exact item before purchasing. A product link is the starting point; it is not a confirmed order or a stock reservation.
Send the option, quantity and destination with your request. We review the request and prepare a quotation. Check the confirmed item details, fees and quotation expiry before approving and paying. A purchase can proceed after payment is confirmed, subject to the seller’s current availability.
When to use your Korean address
If the seller accepts your account and payment method, you can buy directly and use the receiving details shown in My Storage. You remain responsible for placing that store order and resolving checkout questions with the seller.
Sign in to copy your current recipient name, warehouse details and permanent Box ID. Add the Box ID in the detailed-address field as instructed. Do not use the company office address or copy another customer’s receiving details. Keep each domestic tracking number, including extra numbers if the seller splits the order.
What happens after the parcel arrives?
The warehouse matches incoming parcels to your account. Review the arrivals in My Storage, then decide which eligible parcels you want to combine. If you need an additional check of visible options or packaging, ask about inspection before packing.
Receiving a parcel does not automatically book international shipping. Review the packed shipment, available delivery options, destination details and final charges before arranging dispatch.
Compare the complete cost
Keep the product purchase separate from the shipment budget. Depending on your request, costs can include the item, Korean domestic delivery, buying assistance, parcel handling or optional services, international shipping and destination charges.
Combining parcels can remove duplicate outer boxes, but it does not guarantee the lowest price. The final packed dimensions, weight and service availability matter. Compare the confirmed quotation with your budget before proceeding.
